Based in one of Europe's prime medical convention cities, Birmingham, UK, Englemed draws on an international network of correspondents to bring the latest medical news from around the world.

All our news is selected, written and edited by professional journalists.

You can read about some of our history here.

Founder Jon Hunt was a medical reporter on a major UK regional newspaper when he realised the future of journalism lay on the web back in the late 90s.

We can supply packages of health and medical news to your site for prices that start at 150 pounds sterling a month. Special rates may be available for small business and voluntary sites.
