Britain's second swine flu death

An elderly man has become Britain's second patient to die from swine flu, it was reported yesterday.
The man, aged 73, died in Paisley, Scotland. He was reported to have suffered from underlying health problems.
Both British deaths have been in Scotland. The first was a woman of 38.
Some 4,250 cases of the disease have been confirmed in the UK - with more than 500 cases being reported on Friday.
Worldwide the total number of reported cases is approaching 60,000 with 263 cases.
Britain is one of three countries outside the Americas to have reported deaths. Australia has reported three deaths out of 3,280 cases while the Philippines has reported its first death.
Meanwhile Argentina has reported 21 deaths and Chile has reported seven deaths and more than 5,000 cases.
